A new Christmas Purse for someone special!

Rich picked out the fabric himself (yes picture the scene, he was actually going up and down all the fabric isles looking for something special) for this cute little purse I made for his mom's Christmas gift.  I'm sure she will enjoy it!

Felted Snowman!

My friend Bonnie and I took a needle felted snowman class at Paper Tales. It took all day long, but everyone there went home with one of these cute little guys!

Chilly day Beret!

My beautiful niece Monika is modeling the beret I make for this winters chilly nights.  I made up this pattern from looking at a store bought beret that a friend purchased.  I like my version and its cozy!

A quilt with leaves and acorns! My favorite things, how can I not have taken this class, it was the perfect project for me!

My neighbor Cindy and I had quite a time creating this spooky scene for all the Halloween fun we always have in our neighborhood. 

Rich gave us a canvas tarp, Cindy came up with this cute scene and drew it on and I painted it, we love our finished project and everyone had fun with this, even our random trick-or-treaters. 

Wonder what we will come up with for next year, maybe a haunted house!

I don't know where she finds the time, but Renee always comes up with the most beautiful quilts to create.  This one is her Gypsy Quilt and it turned out sooooo beautiful.

Man Room Ottoman!

I made this ottoman out of a paint bucket I got from the hardware store.  I covered the bucket with foam, then I pleated fabric and stapled along the top and inside bottom of the bucket.  I sewed a pillow and with cording and embellished it with buttons.

It goes perfect in Rich's Man Room!

Jellie Roll Race

Love the Cozy!

I had two Jelly Rolls so I sewed them up end to end using one black and white strip, then one colorful strip, I ended up with one really long piece of sewn together strips of fabric, then I sewed them in half and cut the end of the strip, then I sewed that piece in half each time cutting the end of the recently sewn strip.  This is what I got, a really cool, really colorful quilt and of course I backed it with a bright yellow fleece.
So Colorful!

Bracelet Tree

I needed something to hang my bracelets on, maybe something with two rows.....

This is what Rich came up with and its perfect, now I can see all my pretties without rummaging through a drawer.
