So Last week, one of the Kathy's wore a fascinator to our yarn group (the Flock), well it was sooooo cute, we decided we all needed one to wear for New Years, we were all assigned an ingredient to bring and the results were amazing! not a bad one in the bunch. In this pic our little flock works feverishly to get the best ribbon, flowers and feathers available and when Kathy couldn't find a cute feather for her fascinator she just solved the problem by taking her best friend Kathy's feathers. How resourceful is she? Go Kathy!

Pink Posey!
Bag em and Tag em!
I made these gift tags from fabric I got at my favorite quilt-shop, "Fat Quarters" in Vista. I stamped the fabric with a Mason Jar stamp using StazOn Ink, I next put a layer of light batting then ended it with white fabric then sewed around the jar making sure to insert ribbon for the hanger, then I stamped a little something in the jar and embellished all with stickles. They are too cute!

Sunflower Gift Cards
So, as I'm sure you have noticed, I have been posting pictures of the Sunflowers I grew this summer in my back yard on my blog, it turns out that they made perfect subjects for my photo shoots. This year, for the gift giving season, I decided to turn them into cards to give away to family and friends.
I think they're super cool.

Christmas Bunko Gift Giveaway
"Ronald McDonald House" Donation
My friend Catherine and I embellished these frame kits for giving away at the Ronald McDonald House in San Diego. There are many families there going through some very tough times and she is always trying to think of ways to bring a little cheer into their lives. It was a pleasure helping her get these all prettied up for them.
Happy Holidays and hopefully their wishes for happy and healthy children will come true.
Christmas Card, 2011
Since I have a fascination for fabric these days, I decided to take a picture of a cheerful holiday piece I had and make turn it into the background of my Christmas card this year, I then added pretties over the picture, stamped an old world Santa on the inside and of course, strict instructions to "Be Merry".
I like em!
