Picture This!

It' a Face Frame!

If you bling out a frame, put handles on the back so it could be held up from behind,
add a big red bow at the top
what do you have?

an instant party favor!

Table Top Decor!

I keep this on my Dining Roof table and it looks so Holiday-zie.  I added butterflies to the holly berry garland that I wrapped around this wrought Iron Tree, and the plate I painted a few years ago at a local ceramic paint place.
I love the holidays!

Santa Clause is.....

Wearing a hat with a flower on it!

I have been wearing this hat as I cruise the neighbor hood in my golf cart looking at the Christmas tree lights.  So Festive!

A new style of Crochet Beaded Bracelets!

This new version of the crochet rope bracelet is my newest project.  I crochet in the round with three beads only and make the strand twice as long.  Still a very comfortable bracelet!

Embroidery

I have been working on this for a few months and the top is finally finished, below are close ups of the individual patterns.  I'm not sure when I will get to the rest of this project, but for now I'm glad the hand needle work is done!

Six little Snowmen all in a row!

I picked up this pattern while on vacation in South Dakota this year,  I'm so glad I did, these turned out soooooo cute!, they now hang on my Christmas tree looking adorable!

Topiary Time!

I have a topiary tree that I decorate differently for each season just by changing out the top with a new Styrofoam ball (and fiddle with the bottom a little too) but for Halloween I used a hair band with a witch hat attached to it and added seasonal flowers
for Christmas I unwrapped the bottom and added poinsettias to a new Styrofoam ball.
Now changing out the season will be easy as switching out the top of my little pot!

I inherited this round vintage chair from a very dear neighbor who is now an Angel.  I loved this chair from the moment I saw it, although the fabric was another matter.
I always knew that one day I would have the chair re-upholstered and that day came as my friend Linda was looking for a project for her re-upholstering class, and what she did with it was a small miracle because it went from what is pictured above to...

this beauty.
I now truly love this chair.
Thank you so much my friend, I love it!!!

Crochet Collar

I went on a yarn Shop Hop and I came home with yarn to make this festive collar.
It's warm and looks good too!

Wise Owl!

I saw this on pinterest, and I knew I had to make one!

This is a canvas that I spray painted to make the background look like a night sky, next came the tree branch with was also painted, I then took a wooden owl cutout and put him on the tree branch.  The owl eyes are flower petals and the rest of him is blinged out with all kinds of fun stuff.

Even though I see this every day, I still stay up way too late!

The wood man, works again!

Rich is working on a table made from a Sycamore and Avocado Tree.
His friend gave him these tree parts and he has milled it into the shape shown here
(with Tiki supervising)

This table is still in progress so, more postings to come when it is finished, but it looks like its going to be a beauty!

Quilty Bucket Tote!

I started this tote by sewing to together 2 1/2 inch squares, then came the difficult part!
I had to figure out how to put in piping!!!
well I lived through it and all this hard work became the tote I use carry around all my embroidery projects (yes I said embroidery, one can't have too many interests, right?).
I like the way this tote turned out so much, I think I will make another one!

Tiki feeding time!!!!

I have made our cute little Tiki (being the spoiled girl she is) a new nummie bag.

When ever she is hungry, she bring us her bag which has been filled with her dry dog food and we feed her from it one kibble at a time.  It's good bonding time too!

"Bee Positive"

This was a fun project,  I took an old chair (really old), spray painted it with a few different colors, put down a mask then stamped a whole hive of bees on the seat, then added positive words, my niece helped me with this.
The back of the chair has been adorned too!

Carvings

Rich keeps  busy with his creative side too!
I think these are so nice, he brought them home at different times for a little
 "Dee surprise"!

Poolside Tablecloth!

I made this Batik fabric table cloth for summertime bbq's by the pool, it looks so nice and washes up perfectly.  So colorful too!
