I love Haloween!

Spooky spider included!
and I love these Halloween A-door-ables!  Just fill them with goodies and hand on a friends door.

Just what I needed to leave a little treat for someone sweet!

Baby Hair!

There once was baby named Quinn...
and she needed some hair, so I made her some crochet hats with some piggy tails!

She's a cutie with or without the tails!

Reene's Gypsy Quilt

A Renee Original!
I don't know where she finds the time, but Renee always comes up with the most beautiful quilts to create.  This one is her Gypsy Quilt and it turned out sooooo beautiful.

Man Room Ottoman!

I made this ottoman out of a paint bucket I got from the hardware store.  I covered the bucket with foam, then I pleated fabric and stapled along the top and inside bottom of the bucket.  I sewed a pillow and with cording and embellished it with buttons.

It goes perfect in Rich's Man Room!

Jellie Roll Race

Love the Cozy!
I had two Jelly Rolls so I sewed them up end to end using one black and white strip, then one colorful strip, I ended up with one really long piece of sewn together strips of fabric, then I sewed them in half and cut the end of the strip, then I sewed that piece in half each time cutting the end of the recently sewn strip.  This is what I got, a really cool, really colorful quilt and of course I backed it with a bright yellow fleece.
So Colorful!

Bracelet Tree

I needed something to hang my bracelets on, maybe something with two rows.....

This is what Rich came up with and its perfect, now I can see all my pretties without rummaging through a drawer.

Love it!
(I painted it but that's not over spray, its Art)

The Apple Dawg Story!

This is the best camping dessert I have ever had and well worth the time it takes to make these yummy little treats!
First gather your ingredients, you will need squeeze butter, brown sugar, grand biscuits and sliced peaches (we used raspberry flavor).

Next, make the biscuit big, like you would pizza dough and wrap it around a stick about an inch to inch and a half in diameter, if you are using a stick you find in the wilderness (I mean This is a camping dessert), then make sure its clean and not poisonous, that would be a drag :(

Then you bake it, slowly (I said slowly) over a hot bed of coals, be careful or it may burn, this may take 15 to 20 minutes depending on your patience, longer if you burn it and have to start over!

Then...  you pull it off your stick and it looks like this!  (This is Waren, Sandi's cute husband!)

So now that you have a baked biscuit with a hold in it, you squirt some squeeze butter into the hole, then some brown sugar and then a few peaches, repeat this process until the biscuit is full!

Now add a little whipped cream!

and enjoy your little peach cobbler!  and yes they are called apple dawgs!

My First Completed Quilt!

So I finally finished a quilt, from start to finish.
This pattern is called "Kitty in the corner" and it was fairly simple.

I backed this quilt with fleece so that makes it extra cozy!

Can't wait for winter to snuggle up with it!
Detail of my finished quilt!

Grandma's are special too!

My very good friend Renee just became a new Grandma of Twins!  She is so very excited and I just know they will be adorable and brilliant!
I decided I to make these adorable little guys boy and girl owl hats.
They need to keep warm as well as look adorable!

More A-Door-Ables

I can't stop making these, they are too cute!
I've been putting my little thank you gift cards in these and passing them out.  They make a great "Thank You"
